Web Designer

I’m a perfectionist

I’m that guy who’s never 100% satisfied with the work I do. Although some may call it self-critical, I find that it makes me constantly strive to improve and be the best at everything I do.
This attitude is something that enables me to create good work, make it better and then continue to make it great. The best thing about websites is that they are like people and can constantly evolve and improve over time, so in essence my work becomes an extension of my personality.

I’ve got experience

I’m currently a proud and happy father and husband, working full-time as a Web Designer, Content Developer and Content Choreographer for a software company in Goleta, CA.
Prior to my current gig, I was a web developer for a capital investment firm in Los Angeles and a lead designer for an internet marketing company in Agoura Hills. In my 15+ years of experience in making websites, I have been fortunate to have worked for some great companies and with some exceptional people in both a full-time as well as a freelance basis.

How much for a website?

Many people ask this question and the answer isn’t one that can be given out without some investigation and research.  There are so many factors at play that the price ultimately depends on the project.  There’s a good article here that explains it in more detail.

Can you design me a logo?

Yes.  Many times, you will want a new or modified logo to match the new look and feel of your website and to stay current with the latest design trends.

My niece made a website in school, what makes you so special?

My niece also made a cake in her easy bake oven, but I wouldn’t hire her to make a wedding cake.  If that’s what you want, go for it, but if you want a professional, well designed, search optimized, content optimized and quality website that works across browsers and devices, then you may want to stick with hiring the right professional.

Did you study web design in school?

Yes.  After earning my bachelors degree in English at the University of Santa Barbara, California, I did a two year program in multi media arts and technologies at Santa Barbara City College.

Do you do eCommerce?

That depends.  There can be many moving parts with an eCommerce website and if it is a highly complex system, then you may need more than just one guy working on the project.  I can easily make simple eCommerce sites, online donation forms, paypal integration, etc.
